AI Art experience

Having worked with digital collages for over 20 years, the introduction of AI into my creative process was very natural as I saw it as a generator of images and insights that I can exploit in my artistic work with greater power and expansion of possibilities.

Personal experience

All the art I create has to do with my feelings, with what I overflow when I feel the weight of existing. Using AI, I provoke creations based on these feelings and thoughts, as a way of generating the unthinkable and then reformulating the narrative with the other tools I use (pencil, pen, paper, photos and PSD).

Unexpected thought

By inserting art therapy into my creative process, art ends up immersing me in my deepest, darkest colors, making me aware of the pain I feel when I try to fit into the mundane existence that dominates society.

Prove you are human

I'm a skateboarder and hardcore. I got to know art through Urban Culture, when I produced stencils and posters against the system. This passion led me to work with Design and Art, and today I teach AI for Creative Processes at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Rio de Janeiro and I'm a Business Consultant at PUC Rio. Description

This work reflects an introspective and fragmented expression of the human condition. Inspired by my mental model, I created a combination of artistic elements that refer to my multifaceted trajectory, involving influences from skateboarding, hardcore and the DIY attitude. The use of distorted features and overlapping faces suggests an exploration of the various layers of being, a representation of society's emotional and mental complexity. The overlapping graphic elements, such as the crown in the corner, echo an attempt to transcend personal reality, while the drips and smears of paint bring a sense of emotional fluidity, referring to moments of melancholy or confusion. This mix of traditional and AI techniques reflects my intention to balance the experimental with the commercial, always striving for authenticity. In essence, this art represents an inner journey, an emotional map that explores the fragmentation of identity, something that resonates strongly with my authorial work, where I always seek a deeper connection with humanity and its visual and artistic experiences.

Process

My creative process has to do with my search for myself. With the acceptance of my fragmented and curious mind, which aims to create new ways of expressing myself and existing.
