I am intrigued by the idea of incorporating AI into large-scale and multifaceted art projects, similar to the innovative work of artist Refik Anadol. At present, I am extremely pleased with the accessibility we all have to create images with the assistance of AI using our personal computers. This technological advancement has opened up a world of creative possibilities for artists and enthusiasts alike.
Personal experience
In my work, I often explore the interaction with AI, as I am fascinated by how quickly it is advancing and becoming more alive, almost human. Through various platforms, such as ChatGPT, MidJourney, and Freepik, I witness this incredible development, where AI increasingly understands our world and responds in ways that closely resemble human thought. I admire this, and in my art, I aim to depict this growing vitality and humanity that I observe in AI. My work reflects this humanoid nature and the transformation of AI into an almost living entity, one that not only processes information but also communicates and collaborates with us on a deeper level.
Unexpected thought
The most unexpected thought that emerged during the creation of my AI-driven art was realizing how much AI can reflect and amplify human creativity. While I initially approached AI as a tool, over time, I began to see it more as a collaborator, almost like a living creative partner. One surprising insight was how the AI introduced new visual forms and ideas that I hadn’t considered, sparking a deeper understanding of how technology can shape, rather than simply assist, artistic expression. This process has shifted my perspective on the boundaries between human and machine creativity, leading me to question where one begins and the other ends.
Prove you are human
Even though I work closely with AI in my creative process, my human side shines through in my deep connection with my family and my love for traditional art forms like painting or creating something with all kinds of materials (mixed media). I spend a lot of time with my family, and whenever I have the chance to work with colors, paint, glue, markers, and brushes, I take it. A fun fact about me is that I almost always listen to music while creating my images. I listen to a wide range of music, from classical to electronic, as it helps me focus and sparks my imagination. This balance between the human experience and AI collaboration is what makes my work unique.
