My love for images began in childhood, when I would spend hours drawing comic strips and photographing my family with a clunky box camera. Photography became my profession in the 1970s, and I have been navigating the balance between commercial work and personal projects ever since. My training in studio photography led me toward what might be called ‘Constructed Photography’ - imagined scenes rather than documentary records. The rise of Generative AI feels like an extraordinary gift, offering me tools to build images that once lived only in dreams.
