Artist Statement

What’s true for me right now is this: I’m not here to chase trends. I’m building a cinematic memory engine. AI is the medium I use to conjure speculative scenes from the past’s imagined future. Moments that feel familiar but never happened. I’m not interested in realism. I’m interested in what lingers. The glitch. The echo. The unease of recognition in a fabricated frame. My work lives where nostalgia distorts, where suburban myths collide with surveillance tech, where women lead resistance squads from rooftops and cul-de-sacs. I explore gender, spectacle, violence, and pop iconography through a retro-sci-fi lens, crafting still images as if they were pulled from a VHS tape buried in a glitch archive. I use ChatGPT to co-write micro-stories for each piece, building character, tension, and place. I use Midjourney and Magnific to sculpt the visual field. Every prompt is a direction. Every result is a negotiation. I edit, refine, and assemble until the image feels inevitable. This is not automation. It’s authorship. This is not mimicry. It’s memory architecture. I’ve been published in Prompt and CreAtIva magazines, and shown in galleries including GenAI Summit San Francisco, JRNY Gallery Las Vegas, and Superlative Bali. But the real work is this: Creating moments that haunt, glitch, and stay. Fictional, yes. But emotionally true.

AI Art experience

The Excitement of Integrating AI into My Art AI is my superpower—it unlocks creative possibilities that once felt out of reach. Working with AI feels less like using a tool and more like co-creating with a collaborator that pushes the boundaries of my imagination. The interplay between human intention and machine suggestion keeps the process fresh and exciting, often leading me down unexpected paths I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. What inspires me most is the way AI amplifies my vision, helping me translate abstract ideas into vivid realities with precision and flair. It allows me to experiment fearlessly, blend aesthetics across time, and craft narratives that are both intimate and expansive. Each piece becomes a dialogue between what I bring to the process and what the AI offers in return—a dynamic partnership that fuels my artistic expression and challenges me to see art, and myself, in new ways.

Personal experience

How Personal Experience Shapes My AI Art My art is a reflection of the entirety of my life experience, a fusion of the past, present, and imagined futures. Each piece I create draws from the many fragments that define me—moments of discovery, nostalgia for traditions, and a fascination with how humanity evolves alongside technology. Through AI-generated art, I explore themes of identity, personal expression, and the persistence of culture, even in speculative worlds. The deliberate use of printed books in my work, for example, reflects my belief in the importance of tangible knowledge—a connection to the past that grounds us in a digital age. Fashion also becomes a personal statement, symbolizing individuality amid uniformity, much like the way I’ve navigated different stages of my own life. In this way, my art doesn’t just envision futuristic aesthetics; it captures what it means to be human, blending innovation with the enduring elements that shape who we are.

Unexpected thought

The Most Unexpected Realization Through AI Art The most surprising insight I’ve gained through creating AI art is discovering how deeply intertwined my need for entertainment and creation truly is. At its core, my art exists to captivate, spark curiosity, and evoke emotion—it’s an invitation for viewers to step into imaginative worlds that blend the familiar with the fantastical. The process has revealed that creating isn’t just something I do; it’s something I must do. Every piece becomes a performance of sorts, not just for an audience but for myself—a way of shaping narratives that entertain while also expressing something essential about being alive. AI has offered me new tools to extend this passion, allowing me to fuse my visions with cutting-edge technology. In doing so, I’ve come to see that creation and entertainment are inseparable forces in my life, feeding off each other to shape not only my art but the way I engage with the world.
