Some time ago, I was experimenting with combining Noguchi lamps and brutalist interiors in MidJourney, and wanted to see how these elements would end up within the context of Istanbul. The results reimagine the city with soft light effects and unique, surreal combinations. I think these images feel both unreal and familiar, capturing the essence of Istanbul’s characteristic urban texture.

Process

Where architecture meets imagination, transforming the ordinary streets into surreal moments. As an architecture student in Istanbul, infill projects were my favorite ones because I love how they introduced extraordinary contrasts into the city’s existing high density and daily life scenarios. Inspired by that, I’ve reimagined these urban spaces with whimsical, blobby structures—bringing a playful twist to the city’s fabric.
