Statement of Truth – für „PIXELS“
PIXELS is not about photography. And yet, it begins there.
This work lives in the tension between the photographic and the abstract – between what is seen and what is sensed.
By breaking down visual structures into their smallest digital components, I question the illusion of clarity in an age of pixel-perfect imagery.
What remains when sharpness becomes surface?
When skin turns to code, and faces dissolve into patterns of light and noise?
AI becomes my tool, but not my answer.
It allows me to explore a new kind of vulnerability – one that is constructed, yes, but still emotionally resonant.
In this tension lies the truth I’m after:
that beauty can fragment,
that digital images can breathe,
and that art may still ask questions, even when generated by a machine.
PIXELS is a study of disintegration and reconstruction.
Of identity, texture, and the invisible boundary between control and chaos.
My truth?
I don't aim to replicate the real.
I aim to re-feel it.
AI Art experience
AI enables me to use it as a tool, to try things out and to express myself in this way. To combine images and fantasies and create something new.
Personal experience
I try a lot. But I often try to express my feelings. Sometimes it's my personal and private feelings, pain, happiness. Sometimes it becomes political and I try to communicate my attitude and stance in this direction.
Unexpected thought
That I actually enjoy working with the AI.
Prove you are human
;-) I love you too🫶🏻
