Straggler Art

Serbia

Artist Statement

I don’t see art as commentary, but as confrontation. A clash between the inner absurd and the outer machinery of the world. I come from the margins—of time, place, and certainty. That’s why I create like a straggler: wandering through fragments of identity, collapsing narratives, and emotional noise. My art doesn't seek order, but acknowledges the beauty of imbalance, grotesque harmony, and tragic laughter. Working with AI has only made this chaos more vivid. It’s not a tool—I don’t prompt, I provoke. Each image is a visual riddle, built from broken symbols, digital ghosts, and unresolved questions. In this process, AI is my accomplice in exorcising meaning. I believe truth today must be asymmetrical. It flickers between control and surrender, between irony and grief. I use form to mislead, color to disturb, and silence to shout. This is not about aesthetics. It’s about survival—of self, of vision, of strange tenderness in an automated world. Because, like Otto Dix said, "There is much chaos in me, much chaos in our time." And I refuse to clean it up.
