Biophony is a hand-coded, generative synesthesia environment created by Berlin-based artist Alida Sun.
The work uses custom software coded in C++ to create audiovisual experiences that evoke both local and extinct soundscape ecologies. The installation is immersive and multisensory, inviting visitors to sit, reflect, and experience a coded sensory space.
Organized by Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and curated by Julie Ganas, curator of engagement and digital initiatives.
