MAOTIK, Rudolfo Quintas, Camila Nogueira, Delfina Sena, Mike Brauner, John Karp, Pepe, Logic, and Fernando Magalhães, known as MGXS, take part in a one-day programme of talks, a guided tour, a keynote on AI-led curation, and a workshop on image-generation tools.

ETERNO OPEN LAB looks at how digital art and artificial intelligence change the way art is made and collected. The programme runs from production to ownership, with display in between.

The first talk, at 10:30, brings together MAOTIK, Rudolfo Quintas, and Camila Nogueira, moderated by Delfina Sena, on their approaches to installation and digital media. MAOTIK is the working name of Mathieu Le Sourd, whose practice spans immersive environments and audiovisual performance. Rudolfo Quintas builds algorithmic, computer-based installations around cognitive feedback. A guided tour of the current exhibitions follows at 11:30, looking at how digital works can be lived with and shown. At 12:15, Mike Brauner gives the keynote The Other Side, on AI-led curation and the question of who decides that a work exists. In the afternoon, John Karp, Pepe, and Logic discuss first acquisitions, editions, display, ownership, and preservation. Fernando Magalhães, known as MGXS, follows at 16:00 with the hands-on workshop Create Your First AI Artwork, in which AI image-generation tools are part of a creative process.

The programme runs from 10:00 to 19:00 and closes with a DJ set and networking from 17:30. Participation is free and registration is required, as capacity is limited. No previous knowledge is needed.
