FILE SÃO PAULO 2025: SYNTHETIKA is a major electronic language and digital art festival. This year, the event explores the theme of "Synthetika," which refers to a new, synthetic era where creative processes fuse human expression with artificial intelligence and disruptive technologies. The festival features installations, performances, workshops, and talks that question authorship, creativity, and the evolving relationship between humans and machines. The artworks span virtual reality, AI-generated landscapes, audiovisual performances, generative art, and theoretical explorations around the concept of synthetic art.

The festival is curated by Ricardo Barreto (curator and co-founder), Paula Perissinotto (co-curator and co-founder), and Clarissa Vidotto (co-curator). It acts as a platform for international artists, researchers, and students to engage in cross-disciplinary experimentation with art, science, and society, pushing the boundaries of digital culture and innovation. Workshops and performances are also included, offering opportunities for critical dialogue and active participation in shaping the future of digital creativity.
