Artist: Gao Hang, Curator: Fiona Lu
"Screen Life Drawing" is the first solo exhibition in China by Chinese-American artist Gao Hang. The exhibition presents his latest paintings, which use early 3D modeling, low-poly aesthetics, and spray-paint techniques to explore the blurred boundaries between the virtual and the real. The show is a satirical reworking of traditional life drawing, critiquing media dominance and the cognitive dilemmas of the digital age. Works such as "Zebra Study" and "Two Good Looking Asians" use humor and irony to examine how digital technology, algorithms, and screen-based experiences reshape perception and identity
