I Miei Ricordi: AI Dreams, Hallucinations, and Memories

Participating artists: Joy Fennell, Mindeye, Dai, Serifa, vixy, Dullia.K, Maddy Minnis, Parallel.fbx, Circus of Artifice, Infrarouge, Laura Beuchner, Melita Radocaj (Ctrl_cd)

Bringing together 12 international artists, the exhibition explores memory, identity, and speculative futures through the intersection of human and AI states of consciousness. Rather than functioning as a tool, AI emerges here as a collaborator—hallucinating new worlds, reframing collective memory, and rewriting cultural narratives. Themes of race, gender, climate change, and digital culture are recast in vivid new ways. From portraiture that reclaims representation to fever-dream surrealities and glitch-like visions, the works push the boundaries of how human memory and synthetic imagination converge.

The Museum of Artificial Art’s mission is to position AI art within the contemporary art world, and I Miei Ricordi stands as a seminal exhibition in Florence—amplifying a pivotal cultural moment by layering the birthplace of the Renaissance with today’s emerging cultural renaissance.
