
processing… is an archive display drawing on more than a decade of Serpentine's Arts Technologies programme, featuring a website intervention by Artdao with writer Henry Bruce-Jones and Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley's digital game I Didn't Realise You Thought Like That (2026), alongside archival material from earlier commissions including Cecile B. Evans' AGNES (2014), Ian Cheng's BOB and Emissaries (2018), and Gabriel Massan's Third World: The Bottom Dimension (2023).
The display is curated by Tamar Clarke-Brown, Arts Technologies Curator, with Vi Trinh, Assistant Arts Technologies Curator, and Tara Tierney, Digital Archivist, and marks the first public programme of Activating Serpentine's Archive, an initiative supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.Serpentine's Arts Technologies department, founded by Ben Vickers in 2013, works across artificial intelligence, blockchain, and game engines, a remit now led by Eva Jager, Arts Technologies Curator and Creative AI Lead.
