AI Art experience
The limitless potential to visualize complex ideas that would otherwise require extensive resources excites me most. AI has democratized creative expression, allowing artists to bring sophisticated concepts to life without the constraints of traditional production budgets. It's like having an entire production studio at your fingertips, where your imagination truly becomes the only boundary. What especially fascinates me is how AI enables the visualization of abstract concepts - like the invisible barriers we create in our digital age - in ways that feel both surreal and deeply relatable to our lived experience.
Personal experience
As an experienced creative director, my trained eye and deep understanding of visual storytelling inform every piece I create with AI. Years of observing societal shifts and emerging trends have sharpened my ability to capture meaningful moments that resonate. My background helps me recognize subtle nuances - like the interplay between physical presence and digital absence in modern relationships - and translate them into visually compelling narratives.
Unexpected thought
Working with AI feels like training a young horse - sometimes everything flows perfectly, then suddenly it takes unexpected leaps. But these "mistakes" often lead to surprising creative discoveries. The ping-pong of ideas with Claude as a creative partner has pushed me beyond my initial concepts, challenging my assumptions and helping refine ideas through an engaging back-and-forth process.
Proof that I’m human? Well, while AI can simulate emotions and responses, it doesn’t truly feel them like we do. Take, for example, when I submit my work or put myself out there creatively—there’s a real excitement, maybe a bit of nervousness, about whether it’ll be picked or liked. That’s something I physically feel, in my body and mind, and it’s part of what makes the creative process so personal.
AI might help simulate emotions or even write something that sounds like it’s excited, but it doesn’t have that rush of adrenaline or the butterflies in the stomach that I experience. It doesn’t go through the highs and lows of wondering if people will connect with my work or feeling proud when they do. AI can assist with processes, but it’ll never have that human vulnerability and connection to the outcome.

Description
Through a transparent bubble, we observe a young TikToker lost in her digital performance, while her grandparents doze off beside her, their gentle attempts to connect fading into her self-made boundary. A visual reflection on how questionable priorities might lead us to disconnect from authentic moments.
Process
This is one image from a series exploring modern isolation through the metaphor of transparent bubbles. While each piece in the collection reveals different facets of digital disconnection - from gamers to social media influencers - this particular scene spotlights the intergenerational impact. The choice of grandparents was deliberate, as they represent our connection to heritage and wisdom that often gets overlooked in our pursuit of digital validation. The transparency of the bubble is essential to the narrative - we can see both worlds simultaneously, highlighting the conscious choice of separation despite physical proximity.
