Art on Tezos: Berlin, the first event of its kind to bring together a vast number of platforms, galleries and contributors under the banner of Art on Tezos, will feature a three-day celebration of creativity, community, and experimentation, running from November 6–9, 2025. The program spans over a dozen exhibitors, special projects by artists and collectives, and screenings offering audiences an immersive cross-section of the artistic practices flourishing on the Tezos blockchain.
The event brings together a diverse set of participants at the intersection of new media and the blockchain sector, including curatorial collective The Second-Guess, largest marketplace on Tezos objkt, pioneering gallery bitforms, Berlin-based Office Impart and Galerie Met, among others. Each partner will contribute a unique lens, reflecting the experimental and collaborative spirit that define Tezos as a home for art in the digital age.
Celebrating visionary creators from Lauren Lee McCarthy and Kevin Abosch to community-driven platforms like teia, Art on Tezos: Berlin will feature over 200 artists - offering a vivid portrait of the talent and diversity shaping today’s digital art landscape.
“In a moment when questions of digital ownership and authorship are shaping the broader cultural dialogue, Art on Tezos: Berlin highlights why art on the blockchain matters today. Beyond the speculative hype of 2021, blockchain has become a medium for experimentation, collaboration, and accessibility - empowering artists to reach global audiences directly and build sustainable creative ecosystems. Bringing these practices into a physical space creates an essential bridge between online communities and in-person cultural exchange, demonstrating how blockchain-based art is influencing both the art world and society at large.”
Aleksandra Art, Head of Arts Trilitech, (Tezos R&D Hub)
Art on Tezos emerged in spring 2021 with the grassroots platform hic et nunc, which enabled artists to mint and sell NFTs on Tezos. Since then, marketplaces such as objkt, teia, and IINK, among others, have been enabling creators and collectors to connect, collect, and grow. To date, over 100,000 artists from across the globe have explored the ecosystem. Ongoing initiatives such as Tezos Foundation-supported open calls, residency programs, and partnerships with leaders like Art Basel, Serpentine, and Musée d'Orsay have created new success structures for artists to thrive.
Over three days, audiences will discover a landscape where art, technology, and community converge, featuring guided tours across the installations and site-specific performance by Berlin-based interdisciplinary digital media- and performance artist allapopp. TeleNFT, a pioneering project exploring medium as the message via on-chain teletext art, will present its latest showcase following successful showcases at Ars Electronica and other leading digital art festivals, demonstrating how live art can be captured, collected, and preserved on-chain. Together, these contributions present a snapshot of the present and a vision for the future of art on the Tezos blockchain.
